About Our Shipping ServiceSpecial Needs X-Press offers domestic shipping through the U.S. Post Service. We use Priority Mail for all shipments to correctional facilities. This service is the most economical, efficient and reliable method of getting your package to inmates in prison. All packages shipped included tracking with delivery confirmation.
All orders of in stock items are processed and shipped within 2-3 business days.
Shipping rates are per package. Our shipping rates are based on your order total.
*Orders between $1.00 and $12.00 will have a $6.95 shipping charge added.
*Orders between $12.01 and $20.00 will have a $7.95 shipping charge added.
*Orders between $20.01 and $35.00 will have a $8.95 shipping charge added.
*Orders between $35.01 and $50.00 will have a $9.95 shipping charge added.
*Orders between $50.01 and $65.00 will have a $10.95 shipping charge added.
*Orders over $65.01 will have a $12.00 shipping charge added.
All Federal Prison Inmate packages are limited to 3 or 5 items in each order.
All orders over the limit will need to be placed in a separate order.
(EX.-if 7 items are ordered you must make 2 separate orders, one package with 3 items, one package with 4 items)

Special Needs X-Press allows customers to pre-order merchandise that has not yet been released by our suppliers, which include publishers and distributors. The release date is provided by the supplier and indicates the date the product is scheduled to be available for shipment. Release dates are subject to change by the supplier. All items purchased with pre-order will ship together once merchandise is received.
Catalogs that are purchased and not shipped with order are mailed out via first class mail once per week.
Weather, natural disasters, and other events beyond our control may affect shipping and delivery times. If conditions are serious and expected to last longer than a brief period of time, we will notify you via email.
Business Days are Monday through Friday, excluding holidays observed by the U.S. Post Service.
